Exothermic Chemical Foaming Agent

 

n  INTRODUCTION:

Endex 1040™ is achemical foaming agent which utilizes innovative technology to produce superiorquality foamed products. It has a high gas yield and the fast response timetypical of exothermic chemical foaming agents, and generates fine, closed-cellfoams, which result in moldings and extrusions of high quality.

 

n USAGES:

Endex 1040™ is intended for use in a widevariety of processes, including:

• Injection molding for sink mark eliminationand warp reduction

• Structural Foam molding

• Gas Counter-pressure foam molding

• Nitrogen SFM for finer cell structures andextra weight reduction

• Gas Assist molding for extra weightreduction and sink elimination

• Extrusion of Sheet, Film, and Profiles, Wire& Cable insulation

• Blow Molding,Rotational Molding

 

n USE LEVELS:

Endex 1040™ uselevels will vary with the application, but the following guidelines can be usedas a starting point. Optimization for each application is recommended:


• Structural Foam Molding

1.00 %

• Sink Mark Elimination

0.20 %

• Nitrogen Foam Molding

0.25 %

• Extrusion and Blow Molding

0.20 %
